If investors aren’t into stocks at this point, they’re getting close enough.

Flows to equity funds since the 2020 U.S. election total nearly $ 600 billion, exceeding their cumulative net inflow for the previous 12 years, according to Bank of America estimates. The bank’s wealth management clients collectively have their highest equity allocation for at least 16 years.

Goldman Sachs maintains a global risk appetite indicator that just fell from an all-time high a few weeks ago, slightly above the previous high in early 2018 – which was the culmination of a relentless rally and surprising that lasted even longer than the current one has.

Long-running weekly surveys of individual and professional investors show an uptrend in the top 10% of all historical readings.
